Provision of Health Care Services
Young people often compromise their health by self-medication and seeking medical attention from quarks instead of going to hospitals or Clinics for fear of being exposed coupled with the negative attitude of the service providers
To ensure access to health services for young people, the centers maintain fully equipped youth-friendly clinic manned by qualified medical personnel.
The clinics also provide professional counseling, information, and care to young people on sexual, reproductive and general health and career in a confidential and non-judgmental manner.
Therefore, to ensure access to health services for young people, Youth Care Project established and equipped Youth-Friendly Clinic manned by qualified medical personnel. The clinic is aimed at ensuring improved access to sexual and reproductive health services among youth through the provision of comprehensive high-quality, gender-sensitive and youth-friendly integrated, adequate sexual reproductive health services and to establish referral linkages with other service providers for consolidated care, prevention, treatments, and support. The clinics are also aimed at providing professional counseling, information, and care to young people on sexual, reproductive and general health and career in a confidential and non-judgmental manner.
